A Brief Overview Of Q.U.I.E.T. Services’ Video Recording Team
Q.U.I.E.T. Services employs a team of video recording specialists. Our team utilizes the latest cutting edge equipment to do the recordings (i.e. adapter(s), barndoor(s), boom(s), bracket(s), camcorder(s)/ video recorder(s), dedicated audio recorder(s)/ microphone(s), diffuser(s) and gel(s), external monitor(s), filter(s), follow focus, light meter(s), memory card(s), neutral density filter(s), plug(s). rails,screen loup, shoulder rig, various types of lighting, tripod, video editing software). We use a wide variety of digital video recorders as well. For certain projects and tasks, we also use chroma keying (i.e. Blue/Green screen). We are also able to transfer video files into the following formats: DVCpro HD P2, DVCpro 50, DVCPro, DVcam, MiniDV, BetaSP, Digital 8, HI-8, 8mm Video, S-VHS, VHS, Betamax, 3/4" Umatic, and One Inch Type C.Q.U.I.E.T. Services also provides DVD Authoring for Standard Definition Videos. The DVDs are authored in either the 4:3 or 16:9 format/dimensional ratio. High Definition videos are also converted down for standard DVDs. Special features for this service includes interactive menu authoring, custom menu, and button creation, and DVD Authoring. Before authoring any DVDs, our team creates storyboards all the chapters throughout the length of the entire film, which will be placed as bookmarks so that the entire film or video can be viewed from certain sections if the viewer(s) don't want to watch the clip from the beginning. Sometimes, these storyboards are added in the “extras” or “special features” section of a DVD during the post-production phase. The storyboards for each chapter in the entire film are done with the help of video editing software in a way to simulate camera co-ordination and movement through pans and zooms. Quite often, the application(s) of animatics, audio dubbing, sound effects, and refined vocals are applied in co-ordination with each other along with several other automated special effects (embedded in the functions of camcorders and other recording equipment).
Q.U.I.E.T. Services also provides services for the increasingly popular Authoring of videos on Blue-Ray Discs. Clients get the option of creating great looking displays for conventions and trade-shows. Other functionality includes interactive menu authoring, and wide screen display menus and programming. Blue Ray Authoring is unique in the sense that it is the only one of a kind that allows full 1920 X 1080 High Definition video resolution which fill flat screen monitors edge to edge without stretching the picture. The images are also sharper, of higher resolution, and more defined. Despite the higher details in the moving images, Blue Ray Discs contain over five times the storage capacity of a standard DVD.
